Found on another forum.

It's always nice to see our work get noticed.

Show and Tell.

Here's a typical "Bike Fair Show and Tell". I show two commuter bikes; my Birdy "folder" for transit multi-modal trips, and my Trek UB (utility bicycle) commuter. Every item (lights, bell, bottles, rack, bags, etc.) has a tag on it describing its purpose and cost.

My work vehicle.

Notice.

Like a bridge over troubled waters.

Not for much longer.

On the right is the only Bike Lane in the City of Dallas. It was installed over twenty years ago to provide a "safer" crossing of White Rock Creek along Mockingbird Lane. It is a bi-directional lane for use by bicyclists and pedestrians. It is no longer considered to be a recommended design by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials.

On the left, you can see construction underway for a new pedestrian/bicycle bridge across the the northern tip of White Rock Lake. When this bridge is opened in early 2006, the traffic lane on Mockingbird Lane Bridge will be reopened to east-bound vehicular traffic only (including bicyclists). The sidewalk will remain for pedestrain crossing.
