The icon above the bicycle indicates where the bicyclist should ride, just like here.We have the arrows on our sharrows to indicate lane position*, here it indicates you are to run over pedestrians!* Sharrows mean any old thing you want them to mean- lane position, direction of travel, bicycles belong on this road, be alert for cyclists etc.
